Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 16, 2026
I want JulianaHenson.com to be usable and enjoyable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive technology, in both English and Spanish.
What we aim for
This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What's built in
The site uses a proper heading structure on every page and template; color combinations chosen for sufficient contrast; full keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus outlines; descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; labeled form fields with accessible error messages; a language toggle that assistive technology can read (with the current language announced); reduced-motion support that respects your system preference — including replacing the homepage's background video with a still image; and no essential content available only inside images or only on hover.
Video and audio
As video content grows, we intend to provide captions, and transcripts where practical. Video embeds are marked up so they can be operated by keyboard.
Known limitations
Some third-party content — embedded forms (Zoho), the reCAPTCHA challenge, and content embedded from social platforms — is rendered by those providers, and its accessibility is partly outside our control. If any of it blocks you, contact us and we'll help you complete the same task another way.
Feedback
If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, please tell me through the contact form — it genuinely helps. Tell me the page and what happened, and I'll work to fix it.
