Privacy Policy

JulianaHenson.com ("this site," "we," "I") is the personal website of Juliana Henson. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the site collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect only what you choose to give us, we never sell it, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
What we collect, and why
Contact and partnership forms. When you send a message through the contact form or the partnership inquiry form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number (contact form), company name (partnership form), the type of inquiry, your website or social profile if you share it, your budget range if you share it, your preferred language, and your message. This information goes into our customer relationship system (Zoho Bigin) so we can read and answer your message. Both forms include a consent checkbox — we only receive your information if you actively check it and submit the form.
Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your first name and email address through Zoho Campaigns. We use double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email, and you are only subscribed if you click the confirmation link. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately.
Security (reCAPTCHA). Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and automated abuse. Google may collect device and behavior information to decide whether you're a real person. This is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (WP Engine) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and performance. We don't use this to identify you.
Analytics. We use, or may in the future use, Google Analytics to understand which content people enjoy — things like page views, approximate location (city level), and how visitors move through the site. This data is aggregated and doesn't tell us who you are.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising networks that track you. We do not collect more than the site needs to function.
Who processes data on our behalf
We rely on a small number of service providers: Zoho (Bigin CRM and Campaigns newsletter — form submissions and newsletter subscriptions), WP Engine (website hosting), and Google (reCAPTCHA on forms; analytics). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. Embedded content from platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok behaves as if you visited those platforms directly, including their cookies and tracking.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Clicking one takes you to a third-party site (such as Amazon) that has its own privacy practices; the retailer may use cookies to attribute the purchase.
How long we keep information
Contact and partnership inquiries are kept while we're in conversation and for a reasonable period afterward. Newsletter data is kept while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — send us a message through the contact form, and we'll respond as quickly as we can. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA or certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights under local law; we honor reasonable requests regardless of where you're writing from.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes to how the newsletter works will also be mentioned in the newsletter itself.
